Social Recreation Services
805 Connects provides inclusive social recreation programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our activities give participants opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, build friendships, and become more connected to their community. With a wide variety of activities offered each month, participants can choose experiences that align with their interests, goals, and comfort levels.
Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for connection, independence, and enjoyment in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Community Outings and Local Experiences
Participants can explore museums, zoos, beaches, parks, concerts, festivals, sporting events, car shows, community attractions, and other destinations throughout the region.
These outings provide opportunities to experience new places, become familiar with community resources, and create lasting memories with friends. Recent calendars have included destinations such as the Griffith Observatory, Santa Barbara Zoo, Ronald Reagan Library, La Brea Tar Pits, local beaches, community concerts, and professional sporting events.
